Role Overview

A large financial services organization within Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to support cross-team marketing initiatives and establish durable operating structures.

This role is centered on bringing clarity to complex, matrixed environments by defining governance, strengthening accountability, and implementing repeatable processes that enable teams to collaborate and execute effectively. The ideal candidate is comfortable partnering across diverse stakeholder groups and excels at building order, momentum, and consistency in fast-moving marketing organizations.


Key Responsibilities

1. Governance & Framework Development

  • Establish standardized project management practices across marketing initiatives

  • Develop and maintain governance artifacts including project charters, marketing plans, relationship maps, and role definitions

  • Create reusable templates and documentation standards to improve alignment and transparency

  • Implement centralized systems for document management, version control, and knowledge sharing

2. Working Team Enablement & Accountability

  • Define clear roles and responsibilities to ensure ownership and accountability across teams

  • Support onboarding of new team members into established working norms and operating structures

  • Build and maintain status reporting to track progress, risks, decisions, and next steps

  • Partner with team leads to ensure goals, milestones, and success measures are clearly defined and consistently tracked

3. Operational Excellence in Meetings & Communication

  • Design and facilitate effective, outcome-driven meetings with clear agendas, notes, and action tracking

  • Shift teams away from low-value meetings toward purposeful, decision-oriented discussions

  • Establish consistent communication cadences across working teams and stakeholders

  • Ensure timely and accurate information flow between marketing, business partners, sales, and leadership

4. Business Acumen & Strategic Support

  • Use structured documentation to strengthen shared understanding of business objectives, customer segments, and solutions

  • Surface key questions, dependencies, and insights that support informed decision-making

  • Help teams frame work within broader strategic priorities

5. Driving Timeliness & Urgency

  • Reinforce timelines, dependencies, and delivery expectations across all workstreams

  • Proactively escalate risks related to resourcing, sequencing, or schedule impacts

  • Coach teams on behaviors that reinforce accountability, urgency, and follow-through

  • Support leaders in defining and communicating clear standards for execution and delivery


Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Adobe Workfront, or comparable project management platforms

  • Experience working within complex, matrixed organizations across multiple stakeholder groups

  • Strong background in project management, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management

  • Prior experience in agency or multi-client environments strongly preferred
