Title: Delivery Lead Manager
Location: Remote CST/EST (Dallas area preferred)
Duration: Long term contract
Compensation: $60-$70/hr
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Lead Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, programs, or product initiatives. The Delivery Lead Manager will play a key role in ensuring that business outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, driving delivery excellence, and continuously improving delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the delivery of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Oversee planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of initiatives while mitigating risks and resolving issues.
- Manage cross-functional teams (engineering, product, design, QA, operations) to ensure seamless delivery.
- Establish delivery frameworks, governance models, and reporting mechanisms to track progress and performance.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Technical Leads to prioritize backlogs and define roadmaps.
- Drive agile/lean practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage dependencies across teams and external vendors/partners.
- Provide clear communication and reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders on delivery status, risks, and outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in project/program management, delivery management, or similar roles.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with delivery/project management tools (e.g., Jira, ADO).
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, IT systems, and business processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in managing large-scale digital transformation, technology, or product development programs.
