We are seeking a highly organized, technically proficient Project Manager to support data pipeline and automation initiatives across cross-functional teams. This role requires a self-sufficient problem solver who thrives in ambiguous environments, can navigate backend systems, and understands how to translate technical complexity into actionable execution plans.

The ideal candidate brings both strong project management discipline and hands-on technical capability — including the ability to execute and modify shell and Python scripts, troubleshoot backend data pipelines, and collaborate closely with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead planning and execution of data pipeline and automation initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Work cross-functionally with backend engineering and data teams to define scope, clarify requirements, and manage dependencies.
• Execute and modify Python and shell (Bash/PowerShell) scripts to support automation and data handling efforts.
• Monitor and maintain backend data pipelines, identifying risks and proactively resolving issues.
• Troubleshoot production and non-production issues by reviewing logs, diagnosing root causes, and coordinating resolution.
• Translate ambiguous technical requirements into structured project plans and measurable milestones.
• Continuously improve reporting, automation workflows, and pipeline scalability.

Must-Have Qualifications:

1. Hands-on scripting & automation experience (Python + shell)
   
   5+ years of experience building and maintaining data pipelines, including executing and modifying Python and shell scripts (Bash or PowerShell). Strong experience working with JSON and large datasets.
2. Backend data pipeline knowledge with strong troubleshooting skills
   
   Solid understanding of backend systems and data pipeline architecture, with the ability to read logs, diagnose root causes, and independently resolve technical issues.
3. Highly organized, adaptable problem-solver
   
   Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in ambiguous environments, translate complex technical requirements into structured plans, and drive execution with minimal oversight.
