Title: Sr. Technology Architect Location: Nashville Tennessee Duration: 1 year  Compensation:  $145,000 to $150,000 Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders. 

Skillset / Experience:  (Sr, Technology Architect)

The Sr. Technology Architect is responsible for administering and optimizing Oracle-based application environments, including C2M, WAM, SOA, and WebLogic systems. This role partners with development, database, and infrastructure teams to ensure performance, reliability, and successful deployments across environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Installation & Configuration with WebLogic 12c, Oracle Customer to Meter (C2M), Work and Asset Management (WAM) and Oracle SOA Suite 12c applications.
• Administration, maintenance, patching and upgrades.
• Create, maintain, and improve existing automation shell and Python scripts.
• Investigate and drive resolution of application and server issues with C2M, WAM, SOA, OAS applications.
• Performance Tuning – support and monitor Oracle environments from development through production.
• Backup and Recovery – implement and maintain backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery plans.
• Collaborate with development, database, and network teams for seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Able to generalize skills and experience to meet a wide variety of challenges.
• Conduct discovery for use cases and document acceptance criteria.
• Help to manage the customer relationship: setting and meeting expectations, handling scope creep, and otherwise maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Participate in peer-reviews.
• Proactively identify and recommend improved approaches and designs for systems.
• Identify new opportunities for system efficiency.

Minimum Experience/Educational Requirements

• 10+ years of Information Technology experience
• 10+ years of WebLogic Administration experience
• Experience with Unix, Shell scripting, and PERL
• Strong Oracle database and query skills
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle
• Ability to work with multiple teams and interact with leadership
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid interpersonal skills, good work ethic, self-starter

Desirable Experience/Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration or computer science related field
• Working knowledge of electric utility operations is a plus
• Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus
• Experience with BMC Control-M or similar automation tools
• Experience with Dynatrace or similar monitoring tools
• Experience in CC&B/MDM/WAM, Oracle Utilities Application Framework, and SQL scripting
• Understanding of the utility business model
• Experience in technical design and integration frameworks
