Senior ML Software Engineer (ML O rchestration)

About this Featured Opportunity:

We’re seeking a strong Python engineer with hands-on experience across the machine learning lifecycle to help build and operate AI/ML systems in production. This role sits at the intersection of model development, ML infrastructure, and cloud operations. You will work on AI workflow orchestration, model training pipelines, and the services that enable teams to train, deploy, and scale machine learning models reliably.

The Opportunity for You:

• Develop Python-based services, SDKs, and APIs that support AI/ML workflows.
• Build and maintain ML pipelines for model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Design and support orchestration systems for AI workflows and model lifecycle management.
• Work across model training infrastructure and cloud environments to ensure scalable and reliable ML systems.
• Support operational aspects of ML platforms, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to enable efficient model development and training workflows.

Key Success Factors (Must Haves)

• Senior/Staff/Principal level Engineer with 8-10+ years of Software Engineering experience & proficient coding skills in Python.
  • Expert coding skills in Python.
  • Experience building production services, APIs, or SDKs.

• Hands-on experience across the machine learning lifecycle, including model training and evaluation.
  • Experience training models locally or in cloud environments.
  • Experience with model fine-tuning and inference workflows.
• Experience developing APIs or backend services that support ML systems.
  • Strong understanding of ML pipelines and orchestration frameworks.

Nice to Haves

• Strong experience with Airflow or other data pipeline orchestration tools (Prefect, Dagster) and streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis)

• Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) for ML model performance and system health
• DevOps experience with strong grasp of DevOps practices
• Understanding of security best practices for ML systems and data governance
