Frontend Engineer

Locations: 3x per week onsite in: San Diego, CA or Culver City, CA or Cupertino, CA

About this Featured Opportunity:

As a Frontend Engineer, you take on sophisticated problems while enjoying working in an Agile team that continually delights and surprises our users. You collaborate daily with designers, backend engineers, leads and product managers and play an active role in the future roadmap of our web applications. You have proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will need to audit new and existing internal and external solutions, work with teams throughout the entire lifecycle of a project on new features and solutions, liaise and coordinate with various functions, and always represent the team positively and effectively. You will be a pragmatic and trustworthy individual, able to promote the best results whilst also nurturing positive relationships with all those you work with.

The Opportunity for You:

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who has a passion for design and can build beautiful and scalable web applications using modern web technologies. This role will be primarily building a brand-new scalable web application and migrating existing code base from the current application.

Key Success Factors:

• 5+ years of experience in a professional programming position with experience developing user-focused web applications.
  • Must be excellent at refactoring code with care, minimizing bugs and regressions.
• Professional experience with at least one of the modern Web UI frameworks: Svelte (preferred) or React.
• Strong foundations and proficiency in modern web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience using Git in a professional/workplace environment.
  

Nice to Haves:

• Large project experience with a track record of driving significant positive changes inside large mission-critical code bases.
• A good UI design sense and great collaboration and communication skills.
