Title: Frontend Software Development Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA. 
Duration: 6-month contract with extensions on a rolling basis.
Compensation: $70-$80/hr.
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Frontend Software Development Engineer
Must Haves:

• 5+ years of professional frontend software development experience at scale
• Strong experience with React, including component based architecture, hooks, and reusable UI patterns for responsive, maintainable front end applications
• Experience building APIs
• Experience with AWS technologies such as API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch
• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise scale backend features end to end, including working within existing codebases
• Experience contributing to design requirements and solution development for critical or highly reliable systems
• Ability to think strategically about system wide impact, mitigate risk, and deploy safely in environments where services must remain operational
• Comfort working on backend systems used by embedded customer teams, including those operating software on satellites and antennas
• Ability to build and operate services that support highly distributed, mission critical workloads with many downstream consumers

We are seeking a well rounded frontend engineer who excels at owning the full lifecycle of enterprise scale features. While the team values broad engineering skills, this role emphasizes strong frontend development experience and the ability to take a feature from requirements through design, development, testing, deployment, and long term operation. We want engineers who think strategically, understand how their work affects complex distributed systems, and can deliver reliable, production ready backend services at scale.
