Senior Collections Analyst or (Collections Analyst II)

About the Role
Join a long established organization with a strong history of operational excellence and a broad presence across multiple markets. This role manages a large, complex B2B accounts receivable portfolio and plays a key part in driving collections strategy and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor aging reports; follow up on delinquent accounts to improve DSO
• Resolve customer billing disputes and secure timely payments while maintaining strong customer relationships
• Serve as an escalation point and potential mentor for junior team members
• Review accounts and recommend credit holds, credit limits, and payment terms
• Reconcile customer statements, open credits, and credit card payment issues
• Partner cross functionally to resolve billing and payment discrepancies
• Participate in weekly AR reviews, special projects, and ad hoc reporting
• Present verbal status updates to internal leadership and stakeholders
• Support AR system implementations and continuous process improvements
• Ensure compliance with KPIs, SOX, and internal controls

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 4+ years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience
• 4+ years of Order to Cash experience (collections, billing, or cash applications)
• Strong background in B2B collections
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP); ERP or accounting system experience
• Proven ability to manage a multi million dollar AR portfolio with strong attention to detail

Additional Details

• Experience with AR automation platforms is preferred (system implementation exposure a plus)
• Excel assessment required as part of the interview process
• Fast paced, manual environment requiring strong analytical and organizational skills
• AR team size: approximately 25+ associates

Compensation

• Collections Analyst: $26HR $28HR
• Senior Collections Analyst:  $28 to $33HR
• Level placement is based on strategic impact, particularly experience improving metrics such as DSO
