Senior Accountant (Perm)
Location: Dallas – 645 & Royal Lane
Schedule: Hybrid (on-site Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday)
 
Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities for assigned geographic regions, including completion of assigned close checklist items.
• Prepare and post assigned journal entries in accordance with company policy.
• Prepare and maintain assigned balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyze assigned P&L variance accounts and support monthly, quarterly, and annual analytical reviews.
• Partner with stakeholders to review monthly profit and loss statements and provide useful insights.
• Assist with audit support and interface with internal and external audit teams as needed.
• Assist with the annual budget process and periodic re-forecasts.
• Assist in the preparation of estimated tax calculations and responses to federal and state tax notices.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and improve reporting.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.

 
Must-Have Qualifications to be considered

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Inventory accounting and retail accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Must be comfortable completing an Excel assessment that will be shared prior to an official client interview.
• Comfortable working in a more manual accounting environment (not highly automated).
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to pass required background check and drug screening (and Motor Vehicle Record check if applicable).

 
Preferred Qualifications

• Public accounting experience and/or CPA.
• Financial reporting experience.
• System implementation experience.
• ASC 606 experience.
• Billing experience.
• Private equity industry experience.
• Experience with JD Edwards (JDE).
