IT Systems Support Specialist (Desktop/Field Support) – Long Term Project – Sacramento, CA

Location: Sacramento, CA – onsite
Duration: Long Term Project -6 plus months
Compensation: $24-34.00/hr.

Our Government client in Sacramento is seeking an Information Technology Systems Support Specialist (Desktop/Field Services).
- Seeking contractor to temporarily support the Field Services function within the Department's embedded unit supporting the Airports (SCDA).
- This role provides operational support for field services and related IT functions.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with workstation deployments, troubleshooting end-user issues, supporting Microsoft 365 services, coordinating hardware lifecycle activities, and maintaining reliable technology services that support airport staff operations.
Physical Requirements
- This position requires the ability to lift, carry, move, and install computer equipment and related peripherals such as desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and networking devices, typically weighing up to 50 pounds.
- The role may also require bending, kneeling, reaching, and working in confined spaces while performing equipment installation, setup, or troubleshooting.
Other:
- Must be able to pass a stringent criminal background check (livescan) before starting work.
- In office support schedule Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
