Description:

• The Content Planning Lead will take ownership of planning, tracking, and reporting of global planning efforts across content types, collaborating closely with internal and external teams.
• Key responsibilities include overseeing acquisitions, managing library curation, localization strategy, and release strategy through the lifecycle of titles.
• This person will also lead initiatives related to catalog and Special Projects.
• This role will be instrumental in establishing processes and enhancing support tools.

Basic Qualification:

•  Experience in fields related to content planning, content curation, and content strategy.
•  SVOD or Linear TV experience a plus.
•  Proficient in Airtable, Excel, Powerpoint, Google suite and other relevant tools. Ability to quickly and proactively learn or adapt to new tools as needed.
• Excellent communicator, collaborator, and time-manager with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
•  Strong effective communication skills: both verbally and in writing
• Able to build strong relationships and work seamlessly across a large organization
• Collaborative with a strong work ethic and high level of confidentiality
• Capable of forward thinking and adapting quickly to new processes and systems
• Represent Disney+ Programming in meetings with a professional and diplomatic disposition, as the primary point of contact for this function
•  Handle any challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, and act as project lead for ad hoc requests
•  Understanding of segments, brands and franchises, the elements that define them, and expertise to build further audience engagement.
