Description:
- The Content Planning Lead will take ownership of planning, tracking, and reporting of global planning efforts across content types, collaborating closely with internal and external teams.
- Key responsibilities include overseeing acquisitions, managing library curation, localization strategy, and release strategy through the lifecycle of titles.
- This person will also lead initiatives related to catalog and Special Projects.
- This role will be instrumental in establishing processes and enhancing support tools.
Basic Qualification:
- Experience in fields related to content planning, content curation, and content strategy.
- SVOD or Linear TV experience a plus.
- Proficient in Airtable, Excel, Powerpoint, Google suite and other relevant tools. Ability to quickly and proactively learn or adapt to new tools as needed.
- Excellent communicator, collaborator, and time-manager with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Strong effective communication skills: both verbally and in writing
- Able to build strong relationships and work seamlessly across a large organization
- Collaborative with a strong work ethic and high level of confidentiality
- Capable of forward thinking and adapting quickly to new processes and systems
- Represent Disney+ Programming in meetings with a professional and diplomatic disposition, as the primary point of contact for this function
- Handle any challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, and act as project lead for ad hoc requests
- Understanding of segments, brands and franchises, the elements that define them, and expertise to build further audience engagement.
