Information Security Senior Associate
San Antonio, TX (Onsite 5 days a week)
Fulltime- DH position
Salary: $115-$125K annually depending on experience

Overview:
Seeking a hands-on security professional to support enterprise security operations, cloud security, and risk initiatives in a Microsoft-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and enhance security operations across Microsoft Defender and Sentinel
• Investigate and respond to incidents (phishing, endpoint threats, identity attacks)
• Maintain and improve incident response processes and playbooks
• Support identity security (Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, PIM)
• Partner with IT to secure hybrid (on-prem + Azure) environments
• Contribute to security policies, risk assessments, and compliance efforts (NIST/ISO)
• Support data protection initiatives (DLP, Purview, eDiscovery)
• Collaborate with internal teams and promote security best practices

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in information security
• Strong experience with Microsoft Defender, Entra ID (Azure AD), and M365 security tools
• Experience in hybrid environments (on-prem + Azure)
• Proven incident response and investigation experience
• Solid understanding of security frameworks and risk management
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work onsite in San Antonio

Preferred:

• Microsoft certifications (SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, etc.)
• CISSP, CISM, or similar
• Experience with Sentinel, KQL, or SOAR tools
• Background in regulated environments
