ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps Engineer to support a highly complex, production-grade Kubernetes environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in operational excellence—focused on monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and system reliability rather than building infrastructure from scratch.

You’ll play a critical role in maintaining system health, improving observability, and ensuring seamless performance across AWS-based Kubernetes workloads.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing an existing Kubernetes ecosystem running on AWS. Rather than provisioning clusters, your focus will be on keeping systems running smoothly—enhancing monitoring frameworks, responding to alerts, debugging issues, and improving overall reliability.

You will work closely with engineering and platform teams to:

• Strengthen alerting and observability systems

• Troubleshoot complex production issues across Kubernetes and AWS environments

• Improve deployment reliability through CI/CD pipelines

• Ensure best practices are followed across infrastructure and application layers

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS (top 3 must haves)

1. SRE/DevOps Experience + Strong Scripting Skills
   
   3–7 years of US experience in SRE/DevOps roles with solid proficiency in Python scripting for automation, tooling, and operational efficiency.

2. Kubernetes Expertise (Operations-Focused)
   
   Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments, specifically around:

   • Monitoring and observability

   • Troubleshooting and debugging

   • Deployment workflows and best practices

   • Understanding of cluster architecture (no build-from-scratch required)

3. AWS + CI/CD (GitHub-Based Deployments)
   
   Experience working within AWS environments (EC2, EKS) along with a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, particularly:

   • GitHub-based deployment workflows

   • Tools like Flux for continuous delivery

     NICE TO HAVES

   • Previous experience working in Apple environments or similar large-scale ecosystems

   • Familiarity with: Java, ArgoCD, Cassandra, Solr, Ansible, Terraform

   • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools

   • Experience supporting high-scale, distributed systems
