Job Description Summary

The primary function of a non-IT Program Manager (Data Analytics) is to own service program cost modeling, scenario analysis, and financial performance reporting for value-added service programs and new product introduction (NPI) initiatives.

Role Overview

The Program Manager (Data Analytics) is responsible for program cost modeling, scenario analysis, and financial reporting across value-added service programs. This role partners closely with Product, Sales, NPI, Service Operations, and Data Science teams to drive data-informed decisions that maximize profitability and operational efficiency.

This position requires a mix of technical analytics, financial modeling, and stakeholder management to identify cost reduction opportunities, optimize pricing strategies, and support long-term program growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end cost-per-unit modeling (pricing, margin, revenue, profit analysis)
  • Build cost models aligned with operational metrics (returns, yields, reliability, projections)
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align pricing strategies and ensure consistency
  • Develop reporting frameworks for financial and operational metrics (claims, cash flow, program health)
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities across packaging, shipping, and operations
  • Conduct scenario and “what-if” analyses to evaluate business impact
  • Leverage AI tools to track KPIs, measure success, and standardize reporting
  • Lead cross-functional reviews and present insights to leadership
  • Optimize financial reserves and support capital management strategies
  • Forecast claims and support service planning
  • Analyze large datasets to inform program strategy and investment decisions
  • Build scalable financial models and forecasts
  • Track program success through KPIs and reporting
  • Coordinate projects and ensure alignment across technical teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, financial modeling, or program cost management
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python)
  • Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative methods
  • Experience leading data-driven projects end-to-end
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Excel, Looker Studio, etc.)
  • Strong ability to derive insights from complex datasets

Additional Experience

  • Experience with Google Workspace and diagramming tools (e.g., Lucidchart)
  • Ability to perform exploratory analysis with minimal direction
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration across technical and non-technical teams
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Leads cross-functional efforts to build support plans and ensure deadlines are met
