Department: Enterprise Applications (IT), Embedded in HR

Overview:
We're seeking a dynamic Workday Configuration & Reporting Analyst to join our Enterprise Applications team, embedded within HR. This unique role bridges technology and people operations, providing critical support for Workday configuration, reporting, and key annual initiatives. If you're someone who thrives at the intersection of systems, strategy, and HR operations—this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

About the Environment:
Our organization has been on the Workday platform for several years. Workday ownership is shared between Corp IT and HR—development and integrations sit with IT, while configuration management, reporting, and analytics live on the HR side. This role is funded by IT but will be fully embedded with HR, working alongside a tight-knit team supporting Workday and Prism reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR and IT stakeholders to maintain and optimize existing Workday configurations—no major architectural shifts, but continual improvement and fine-tuning.

  • Support key HR calendar events such as Open Enrollment, Compensation Planning, Benefits Updates, Time Off Consolidation, and Security Configuration.

  • Manage day-to-day system configurations within Workday HCM.

  • Maintain and enhance Workday Prism reports; publish and schedule reports as needed (deep Prism expertise not required—expertise already exists on the team).

  • Contribute to ongoing reporting needs, data validation, and scheduled deliveries.

  • Leverage experience with Workday Discovery Boards to create actionable dashboards and visual insights.

  • Collaborate with functional teams to troubleshoot issues, recommend improvements, and ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience, ideally within an HR or HRIS team.

  • Familiarity with key Workday modules: Benefits, Compensation, Security, Time Off, and Core HCM.

  • Experience working in or alongside HR organizations; strong cross-functional communication skills.

  • Experience publishing, maintaining, and scheduling reports in Workday Prism.

  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with Discovery Boards is a strong plus.

  • Ability to prioritize and pivot in a fast-moving environment with multiple stakeholders.

Why Join Us?
You'll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking HR tech environment, where your work directly enhances the employee experience. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role supporting core systems that touch every part of the organization.
