Title: Wire Payments & Treasury Domain Analyst
Location: Remote in the US supporting an ET client
Duration: Initial 6 months contract with extensions
Compensation: $55.00-$65.00
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or or Authorized to work in US

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Wire Payments and Treasury Subject Matter Expert to accelerate requirement refinement and elaboration for initiatives with CIBC. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in wire transfers, operational value adjustments (OVA), liquidity management, and foreign exchange (FX). This role will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define requirements, optimize processes, and ensure regulatory and operational alignment in payments and treasury systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to refine and elaborate requirements for wire payment solutions.

  • Provide subject matter expertise on OVA, liquidity management, and FX processes in a banking environment.

  • Assess current workflows, identify gaps, and propose solutions for operational efficiency and compliance.

  • Support solution design and documentation for payments and treasury initiatives.

  • Advise on best practices for wire transfer processing, treasury operations, and cash management.

  • Act as a liaison between product, business, and technology teams during requirement gathering and implementation phases.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in banking operations, payments, or treasury systems.

  • Proven expertise in wire transfers and SWIFT payment networks.

  • Strong knowledge of OVA (Operational Value Adjustments), liquidity management, and foreign exchange.

  • Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into functional specifications.

  • Familiarity with Canadian and North American banking regulatory frameworks.

  • Excellent communication skills for working with senior business stakeholders and technical teams.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with CIBC or other major Canadian banks.

  • Background in business analysis or solution consulting for banking payments.

  • Knowledge of ISO 20022 payment messaging standards.
