Work Requirements:  US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US
Skillset / Experience:

Hiring a Product Manager for the Data Archival team of a healthcare organization. This role serves as the middleman between business owners, applications that are retiring and the vendor.  It has a strong focus on managing vendor relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and proactively supporting M&A activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business owners, application teams, and vendors
  • Manage the end-to-end archival process: identify retiring applications, coordinate data extraction, and facilitate secure handoff to archival vendors.
  • Maintain a centralized tracking system for all M&A activities, application retirements, archival timelines, and vendor status.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including business owners, Project Managers, executives, vendors, and technical teams.
  • Drive alignment around data retention policies and ensure compliance with established retention schedules (e.g., identifying and purging excess years of data).
  • Work cross-functionally to build and manage the product roadmap for our archival source system.
  • Establish repeatable, proactive processes to integrate data archiving earlier in M&A workflows, rather than treating it as an afterthought.
  • Support change management and communication strategies at the executive level.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps for agile project tracking and backlog management.

Qualifications:

  • 3–7 years of experience in Product Management and Data Archival.
  • Proven experience working in Agile environments, including use of ADO (Azure DevOps).
  • Strong understanding of data retention policies and archival workflows.
  • Healthcare or hospital IT experience strongly preferred, especially involving HIM (Health Information Management).
  • Experience with vendor management, particularly with third-party archival vendors such as Triyam.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills – must be confident interfacing with executives, business owners, and technical teams alike.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience supporting M&A related IT workstreams.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, PHI data handling).
  • Knowledge of application decommissioning and systems integration.

Our benefits package includes:

  • Comprehensive medical benefits
  • Competitive pay
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • …and much more!
