Title: Data Warehouse Developer SSIS
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota (Remote)
Duration: 6 Months
Compensation: $62.00-$66.50
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
 
Skillset / Experience:
We are seeking a software engineer to assist with expanding existing SQL Server data load processes built in SSIS for our Retail Credit Risk Management group.

This role involves:
• Adding new data sources
• Creating and validating logic
• Developing processes to integrate these sources into our database
• Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the output

Top 3 Required Skills:
1. Proficient in T-SQL with experience in MS SQL Server 2019 or greater
2. Experienced in SSIS
3. Strong oral communication skills

Nice to Have (Preferred) Skills:
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, ADF, SQL MI)
• Skills in requirements gathering
• Experience with technical documentation

Experience Required:
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in software engineering or data management roles
• Strong emphasis on SQL Server environments

Responsibilities:
• Develop and optimize ETL systems for our Microsoft SQL Server Data Warehouse using SSIS and other database objects (e.g., stored procedures, views, tables)
• Collaborate with risk managers to evaluate and integrate new data sources
• Perform query performance tuning to optimize both data loads and end-user queries
• Communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders, including using data flow diagrams
