Title:  Purchasing Agent
Location: Miami, FL (hybrid)
Duration: 1 year contract to hire
Compensation: $30-$37/hourly
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S

Purchasing Agent

Required Qualifications:

• Must have 3-4 years of experience in a related supply chain role.
• Must be able to handle the entire purchase to pay process to facilitate the corporate procurement of goods of IT
  • Processing purchase requisitions in oracle purchasing based on internal requests, turning approved requests to purchase orders
• Must have experience using Oracle Purchasing – Oracle11i/R12 – and Microsoft Suite
• Experience issuing move order requests for internal inventory items and assist management in maintaining proper par levels
• Must have good communication skills
  • They will need to liaison with Brand or Corporate service area to provide order status updates
  • They will need to handle expedited shipping requests and estimated delivery times/delays
  • Will also be communicating with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and solving discrepancies
• Must have an associate's degree or higher education

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous purchasing experience working for the hospitality industry, cruise line experience is a big plus

Day to Day:

• Ability to handle the entire Purchase to Pay process utilizing Oracle Purchasing to facilitate corporate procurement of goods and services for IT across all brands.
• Responsibilities include processing purchase requisitions in Oracle Purchasing based on internal requests, converting approved requisitions into purchase orders, working with suppliers to insure on time delivery of orders and resolving discrepancies in orders or invoices.
