Title: Senior Accounts Receivable Manager 
Location: Onsite- Addison, TX
Duration: 12+ month contract to hire

Compensation: $50.00 – 55.00/hr

Senior Accounts Receivable Manager 

Job Description:
Oversee and manage all activities in the Accounts Receivable (AR) department.
Ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
Develop, implement, and monitor effective AR processes and policies.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to improve cash flow and reduce aging receivables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the AR team, including billing, collections, and cash application.
  • Establish KPIs and regularly track AR performance metrics.
  • Maintain compliance with corporate financial policies and internal controls.
  • Review credit limits, customer payment terms, and dispute resolutions.
  • Provide detailed AR reports and cash forecasting to senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline AR processes.
  • Partner with IT and automation teams to enhance AR systems and tools.
  • Leadership and People Management
  • Supervise and develop AR staff through training, mentoring, and performance reviews.
  • Create a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure adequate coverage and workload distribution within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in AR or credit management.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, SOX compliance, and GAAP.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large teams and driving performance.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in shared services or multinational environments.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., RPA, Power BI dashboards).
  • Strong business acumen with a focus on process improvement and cost efficiency.
  • Fast-paced, deadline-driven corporate setting.
  • Requires occasional collaboration with cross-functional global teams.
