Title: IT Back Office Analyst
Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST (Monday – Friday)
Weekend Rotation: Required to work 2 consecutive Saturdays, then off for 4 weeks (rotating schedule). Saturday hours are typically 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM CST; time worked and on-call coverage are paid as overtime.
Location: Fully Remote
Compensation: $25/hour
Duration: 12+ Months (Potential Contract-to-Hire)

Position Overview
The IT Back Office Analyst will support internal business systems by analyzing data, identifying and reporting errors, and assisting with system provisioning and access requests. This role is not a typical IT helpdesk position—it is more focused on data accuracy, system reliability, and maintaining secure access to sensitive employee information such as pay and HR records.
You will be trained extensively before working independently, leveraging a comprehensive knowledge base that outlines all systems, terminology, and troubleshooting procedures. This position requires a trustworthy, detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and comfort working in a technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support internal business systems and perform Tier-2 level tasks such as account provisioning, password resets, and basic installations (e.g., printers).

Review data, identify potential errors or inconsistencies, and report findings to the responsible technical teams for resolution.

Follow detailed procedures and knowledge base documentation to resolve common issues and process requests accurately.

Maintain confidentiality when accessing or handling sensitive information, including employee pay and personal data.

Participate in weekend rotation coverage—typically working online for a few hours and remaining on-call for the remainder of the shift.

Collaborate with peers and internal departments to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement of internal support processes.
Qualifications

Comfortable working in a technology-focused environment; prior IT experience is not required.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to follow detailed written instructions and retain procedural knowledge.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity.

Exceptional professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.

Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn.

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
