Description
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven individual to assist in the coordination, planning, and on-site execution of an annual Conference. You will be responsible for sponsorship acquisition efforts, driving external registration sales, assisting in managing key subcommittees, and providing essential support across multiple workstreams.
Responsibilities:
- Sponsorship Sales: Drive sponsorship revenue to meet/exceed ***M target through prospecting, relationship building, solution selling and contract negotiation
- External Registration Support: Significantly contribute to achieving ***M external registration revenue goal through identification of marketing tactics to meet the registration target
- Lead Sponsors Subcommittee: Under the management of the Program Manager, direct the activities of an 8-person subcommittee to execute sponsor-related initiatives
- Assist Production subcommittee with signage coordination, production scheduling, and partner engagement
- Support program guide development using Adobe InDesign
- Collaborate on venue logistics and attendee experience optimization
- Develop and track metrics to assess goal effectiveness across workstreams
- Manage communications with partners and vendors
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners
- Support overall conference planning, development, and execution
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices to enhance project outcomes
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in event sales.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience using Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Adobe InDesign preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
