ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY
We're seeking a Full Stack Developer to join the Engineering team. This team builds and maintains internal tools focused on reporting and data management to improve operational efficiency and provide actionable insights across the organization. You'll have the opportunity to work on high-impact internal applications that support data aggregation, reporting dashboards, and internal workflows, contributing to a team that ensures reliable, accurate, and accessible data for multiple business units.
THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining internal applications that manage, report, and synchronize data across multiple systems. You'll work across the full stack, including front-end interfaces, backend services, API design, and database management, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. In this role, you will follow an Agile development process, participate in regular stand-ups, code reviews, and sprint planning sessions, and ensure proper testing coverage through unit and integration tests. Your work will focus on building tools that enhance reporting and data management workflows, troubleshoot and maintain existing systems, and implement new features that improve internal data accessibility and operational insights.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS (Top 3 Must Haves)
- 5+ years of experience in Ruby or Python, with experience in frameworks such as Django, FastAPI (Python), or Ruby on Rails. Strong testing practices and experience with automated testing and debugging.
- JavaScript with React experience
- Strong database and SQL expertise, including schema design, query optimization, and understanding of data flows. Experience with PostgreSQL, or similar, preferred.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with Sidekiq (Ruby) or Celery (Python) for background job processing.
- Familiarity with cloud deployment and containerization tools such as Kubernetes or Cube.
- Knowledge of API design principles and internal data integration patterns.
- Experience with TypeScript or Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Contributions to open source projects or previous work on internal reporting/data management systems.
