Title: Site Logistics Manager
Location: Ohio
Duration: Thru 2026, can extend
Compensation: $55-60/hr
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
This is a fully onsite position. Hours are 8am-5 pm Monday through Friday. No remote work permitted. Occasional after hour or weekend work could be required.
The Site Logistics Manager is a critical role responsible for managing the coordination, tracking, and installation of equipment at mission-critical construction sites. This position serves as the primary liaison between the owner, General Contractors, and equipment vendors to ensure seamless equipment delivery, installation, and project milestone achievement. You will own onsite oversight of this function including communication and reporting, stakeholder management, documentation, and compliance. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage all OFCI equipment logistics from delivery through installation completion
- Coordinate with General Contractors to schedule equipment deliveries and installation activities
- Track equipment status, timelines, and installation progress
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and protection of owner-furnished equipment onsite
- Identify and escalate equipment delays, damages, or installation issues
A successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; OR
- 5+ years of relevant experience in construction logistics, equipment coordination, or project management
- Experience in data center construction or mission-critical facilities preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems
- Proficiency with project management and tracking software
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, and web-based applications
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Understanding of construction schedules and critical path methodology
Additional requirements:
- Ability to work in active construction environments
- Capable of walking construction sites for extended periods
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs
- Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to project sites as assigned
