Senior Technology Architect (Oracle) – Build What Powers Tomorrow

 What You’ll Own

• Architect, install, and configure Oracle WebLogic 12c, WAM, and SOA Suite environments
• Lead administration, patching, upgrades, and ongoing system optimization
• Build and enhance automation using Shell and Python scripting
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and server issues across Oracle platforms
• Drive performance tuning from development through production
• Design and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
• Partner with development, database, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployments
• Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and architecture
• Contribute to technical design, peer reviews, and solution innovation
• Engage with stakeholders and help manage expectations across projects

What You Bring

• 5+ years of IT experience, including deep expertise in WebLogic administration
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle environments (WAM, SOA, OAS)
• Solid skills in Unix/Linux, Shell scripting, and/or PERL
• Strong Oracle database and SQL/query experience
• Proven experience working across the SDLC
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate with both technical and business leaders
• A proactive, self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving ability

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience in utility industry systems, Oracle Utilities (C2M, CC&B, MDM, WAM, OUAF)
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Control-M, or Dynatrace
• Experience with integration frameworks and enterprise architecture design
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Business, or related field
