Compensation Operations Specialist
Overview
The role will focus heavily on operational and administrative support within the Compensation department, including:
- Managing the shared compensation inbox
- Organizing and streamlining inbox workflows and Outlook rules
- Triaging compensation-related inquiries through ServiceNow (HR Now)
- Routing tickets to the appropriate Compensation Advisors based on business unit
- Supporting data entry and administrative tasks
- Assisting with predefined compensation calculations and processes
- Supporting process improvement initiatives
- Leveraging AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT to identify efficiencies and improve workflows
Skills & Qualifications
Alex emphasized that the ideal candidate does not necessarily need direct compensation experience, but should possess strong administrative and operational support experience with an analytical mindset.
Key qualifications include:
- Strong administrative and operational support background
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Outlook
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage fluctuating workloads and high-volume requests
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfort working with data and performing analytical tasks
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot
- Process improvement mindset and willingness to learn

Compensation Background Requirements
The manager confirmed that direct compensation experience is preferred but not required. Candidates from HR Operations or administrative backgrounds may still be considered if they demonstrate:
- Strong analytical abilities
- Attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and grow
Executive administrative candidates may also be considered if they possess a strong analytical mindset.
