Title: Compliance Manager
Location: Houston, Texas
Duration: Direct Hire

Compensation: $100,000 – $110,000
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

 
Skillset / Experience:
Our client, a leading electrical construction company, is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee and ensure adherence to all regulatory, safety, and labor compliance requirements across projects and operations. This role will be responsible for managing compliance programs, conducting audits, and partnering with internal teams to mitigate risk and maintain regulatory standards across safety, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including labor laws, OSHA standards, and industry-specific requirements
  • Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews of company operations, payroll processes, and project activities
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready documentation, including employee records, compliance reports, and certifications
  • Partner with HR, Accounting, and Operations to ensure alignment of compliance-related processes
  • Monitor and enforce safety and environmental compliance standards, including OSHA regulations and site safety requirements
  • Identify compliance risks and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Support quality and project compliance efforts, ensuring electrical work meets contract requirements and regulatory standards
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external compliance inquiries, audits, and reporting
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and implement updates to policies and procedures as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Construction Management, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in compliance, safety, or related function, preferably within construction or electrical services
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Department of Labor (DOL) regulations
    • OSHA and safety compliance standards
  • Experience supporting audits, reporting, and regulatory compliance programs
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and ability to partner cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in electrical construction or contractor environment
  • OSHA certification
  • Experience with compliance audits, risk management, or quality control programs
