Title: Senior Storage Administrator

Duration: 12-Month Contract (W2)
Compensation: $55-57/HR

We’re seeking a Senior Storage Administrator to manage and optimize enterprise storage across on-prem and cloud environments. This role supports the design, administration, and lifecycle management of SAN/NAS infrastructure supporting mission-critical workloads across multiple data centers.
You’ll handle day-to-day storage operations including provisioning, zoning, replication, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across SAN, NAS, and iSCSI environments. You’ll also support DR testing and recovery, and partner with infrastructure, backup, virtualization, and cloud teams on migrations and modernization efforts.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and support enterprise storage (block, file, object)
- Manage SAN environments (Cisco MDS, Fibre Channel, VSANs, zoning)
- Administer NAS services (SMB/CIFS, NFS v3/v4, Kerberos)
- Provisioning, snapshots, replication, expansions, and lifecycle tasks
- Monitor and optimize performance, availability, and capacity
- Support DR (replication, testing, incident response)
- Perform upgrades, patching, and firmware maintenance
- Ensure security/compliance (encryption, audits, remediation)
- Support change/incident management (ITIL/ServiceNow)
- Maintain documentation, CMDB, and runbooks
- Capacity planning and reporting
- Participate in on-call support
Key experience:
- 7+ years enterprise storage administration
- Dell EMC, Pure Storage, NetApp, or similar platforms
- Strong SAN/NAS (FC, iSCSI, SMB, NFS)
- Performance tuning, replication, snapshots, DR
- Large enterprise or multi-data center environments
- Scripting/automation (PowerShell or Python) preferred
- Hybrid cloud exposure (FSx for ONTAP / NetApp ONTAP) a plus
