Duration: 6 month contract
Compensation: $23/hr

Job Description
Our client is seeking a Human Resources Clerical II professional to provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This position plays a key role in supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, reporting, compliance, and employee engagement activities while serving as a resource for employees and leaders across the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience maintaining confidential employee information in a fast-paced HR environment.
Responsibilities
Recruiting & Onboarding
- Coordinate recruiting and hiring activities, including monitoring applications through an HRIS platform.
- Assist candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding activities.
- Coordinate equipment, phone, and system access requests for new hires.
- Serve as a liaison between temporary staffing agencies and hiring managers.
Employee Support & HR Administration
- Assist employees with general human resources questions and support requests.
- Support company HR policies, procedures, and practices.
- Provide guidance and support to leaders regarding performance management processes.
- Coordinate receptionist coverage schedules and related staffing needs.
- Support employee communications, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives.
Reporting & Compliance
- Complete monthly HR reports and maintain employment records.
- Track employee attendance and assist with leave of absence administration.
- Monitor outstanding requests and deadlines to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain confidential employee information in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
- Generate reports and presentations for leadership using Microsoft Office applications.
Administrative Support
- Prepare, copy, scan, file, and distribute documents.
- Post required notices and maintain departmental records.
- Support company meetings, events, and employee engagement activities.
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Human Resources, HR Administration, or HR support experience.
- Experience coordinating recruiting, onboarding, and employee support activities.
- Experience maintaining employee records and confidential information.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and follow-up skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with employees and leadership at all levels.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with HRIS systems.
- Workday experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, AAP, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements.
- Experience supporting leave administration.
- Experience supporting employee relations activities.
- Prior experience in a high-volume HR environment.
