Position Summary
The Senior Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for driving execution, governance, and delivery of complex technology initiatives across Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Services, Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, and Application Development organizations.
This role serves as a force multiplier for technology leadership by coordinating large-scale transformation programs, managing cross-functional dependencies, tracking delivery commitments, facilitating executive communications, and ensuring accountability for key strategic initiatives.

The TPM will play a critical role in supporting Secure by Design initiatives, infrastructure modernization efforts, cyber resilience programs, platform engineering roadmaps, and organizational readiness for emerging AI-enabled technology and cybersecurity risks.
This position is an individual contributor role requiring exceptional organizational influence, technical acumen, and the ability to drive execution across highly matrixed organizations without direct authority.


Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead complex, cross-functional technology programs from initiation through implementation and operationalization.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, roadmaps, milestones, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate activities across infrastructure engineering, cyber security, architecture, platform operations, cloud engineering, and application development teams.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve program dependencies, risks, issues, and blockers.
  • Establish governance mechanisms that provide transparency into program health, delivery status, and organizational impacts.
  • Drive accountability across multiple teams to ensure commitments are achieved on schedule.

Platform Engineering & Infrastructure Programs

  • Coordinate strategic initiatives involving enterprise infrastructure platforms, cloud services, operating systems, identity services, networking, automation, and observability platforms.
  • Facilitate planning and execution activities across distributed engineering teams.
  • Ensure alignment between technical teams, business stakeholders, architecture organizations, and leadership.
  • Support technology modernization, platform transformation, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Partner with engineering leaders to identify and mitigate delivery risks.

Secure by Design Program Support

  • Coordinate implementation activities associated with Secure by Design initiatives across engineering and infrastructure domains.
  • Support execution of threat modeling, security scanning, platform hardening, secure development lifecycle, and DevSecOps-related programs.
  • Track remediation activities associated with vulnerability management, exposure reduction, and cyber risk initiatives.
  • Facilitate collaboration between engineering, architecture, and cyber security organizations.
  • Monitor and report progress against Secure by Design objectives, key performance indicators, and success measures.

AI Security & Emerging Technology Readiness

  • Coordinate initiatives involving AI governance, AI adoption, and emerging technology risk management.
  • Support organizational readiness efforts associated with AI-enabled software development and engineering practices.
  • Track dependencies, risks, and compliance activities related to AI-enabled platforms and services.
  • Support programs focused on mitigating emerging cyber threats and evolving security requirements.

Executive Communications & Reporting

  • Develop executive-ready communications, status reports, dashboards, and governance materials.
  • Communicate program progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions to senior leadership.
  • Translate complex technical topics into concise business-oriented updates.
  • Facilitate steering committees, executive reviews, and cross-functional governance forums.

Required Qualifications
Experience

  • 8+ years of experience leading large-scale technology programs.
  • 5+ years supporting infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, cloud engineering, enterprise architecture, or enterprise technology organizations.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple technical disciplines.
  • Experience coordinating work across engineering, cyber security, architecture, operations, and development teams.
  • Proven ability to drive execution and accountability in matrixed organizations without direct authority.
  • Experience supporting executive-level governance, reporting, and decision-making processes.
