About this Featured Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative QA Engineer who has the curiosity to break things. In this role, you’ll be working with the Content Tools team to create new services and tools for managing and distributing vast media content. You will be responsible for testing tools, software, and services to ensure seamless integration for our products, to deliver the highest quality customer experience. As a member of the Quality Team, you will play a key part in defining test strategies, writing automation scripts and communicating quality status.

The Opportunity for You:

You will serve as the sole QA DRI for the engineering teams, working directly with the developers to test their modules. Experience with QA testing for content management systems or video content is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web applications.
• Build and extend automated UI test suites using Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Perform API testing (REST/JSON) using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent libraries.
• Investigate, reproduce, and clearly document defects with steps, expected vs. actual behavior, logs, and screenshots.
• Collaborate with developers and product on requirements review, test planning, and release readiness.
• Participate in regression, smoke, and exploratory testing cycles.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test strategy, tooling, and CI integration.

Key Success Factors:

• 3-5+ years of professional QA experience testing web applications.
  • Strong understanding of complex systems.
  • Strong test planning & test strategy skills.
• Hands-on experience writing automation scripts (Selenium/Playwright/Python/Java).
• Working knowledge of Backend API testing concepts (HTTP methods, status codes, request/response validation, authentication).
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and defect tracking tools (Jira or similar).
• Strong written and verbal communication; clear, reproducible bug reports.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working with Content Management systems.
• Understanding or background working in Media space: Video Content (preferred), Media, Music, Sports, Studios, etc.
• Familiarity or experimentation with AI tooling in QA workflows.
