Title: Program Manager

Location: Remote, US 

Duration: 12 months, potential to extend

Compensation: $70 – 80 / hour 

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor online community channels, including platforms such as Discord, GitHub, and other community forums.
• Engage with community members by responding to questions, sharing updates, and helping maintain a positive and productive community experience.
• Write, edit, and publish clear, concise content for community communications, product updates, announcements, and other recurring messaging.
• Coordinate recurring program activities, including maintaining trackers, managing calendars, monitoring deliverables, and following up with internal stakeholders.
• Identify community-reported bugs, questions, or issues and route them to the appropriate internal teams for resolution.
• Maintain organized documentation and track the status of community requests, escalations, and ongoing initiatives.
• Support community events, virtual workshops, hackathons, and other engagement activities.
• Assist with recurring content and operational tasks that support the day-to-day management of the Creator community.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure community communications are accurate, timely, and consistent.

Must-Have Experience

• Writing/Editorial Experience: Strong writing and editing skills with experience creating clear, polished content. Backgrounds in editorial, communications, content, publishing, social media, or similar fields are relevant.
• Program Management/Coordination: Experience managing projects or recurring workflows, including tracking tasks, coordinating stakeholders, maintaining documentation, and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Community Management: Experience supporting, moderating, or engaging with an online community, creator community, customer community, or similar audience.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing repetitive, detail-oriented tasks with consistency and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to represent a brand or organization professionally.
• Comfortable learning and working within community platforms such as Discord, GitHub, Slack, forums, or similar tools.
• Ability to identify issues, determine the appropriate escalation path, and follow through until they are addressed.
• Comfortable working in a more execution-focused, junior-level role where a significant portion of the work involves recurring processes and operational tasks.
