Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced ICT Engineer to develop, validate, release, and optimize In-Circuit Test (ICT) solutions supporting the manufacturing of next-generation server platforms.

This position will focus on PCB assembly testing, Design for Testability (DFT), fixture development, structural test coverage, production test release, NPI support, and continuous yield improvement. The ICT Engineer will work closely with Product Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, and NPI teams to ensure robust and scalable test solutions for high-volume electronics manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

ICT Test Development

• Develop, validate, and release ICT test programs for new and existing server PCBAs.

• Optimize ICT test sequences, test limits, cycle time, and structural test coverage.

• Design, develop, validate, and maintain ICT fixtures and interface hardware.

• Support ICT equipment qualification, installation, and production release.

• Develop and maintain test procedures, engineering documentation, and manufacturing instructions.

• Troubleshoot ICT hardware, software, fixture, and communication issues.

Design for Testability (DFT)

• Participate in schematic and PCB layout DFT reviews.

• Evaluate test point accessibility and recommend design improvements.

• Improve structural test coverage through DFT optimization.

• Support Boundary Scan / JTAG implementation where applicable.

• Partner with hardware design teams to improve product manufacturability and testability.

Liquid-Cooling Test Considerations

• Evaluate test point and probe access constraints associated with cold plates, coolant manifolds, and quick-disconnect fittings.

• Define pre- and post-cold-plate test sequencing strategies to maximize structural test coverage.

• Coordinate with Mechanical and Thermal Engineering on fixture design and cold-plate clearance.

• Support fixture modifications required for liquid-cooled PCBAs while maintaining test coverage.

Production & NPI Support

• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), engineering builds, pilot builds, and production ramp.

• Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and product revisions.

• Improve equipment utilization, uptime, test efficiency, and manufacturing performance.

• Provide technical support to manufacturing and engineering teams during production.

• Support production test release and manufacturing readiness activities.

Failure Analysis & Continuous Improvement

• Analyze ICT yield performance and drive First Pass Yield (FPY) improvement.

• Perform root-cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies, including 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone.

• Implement and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC).

• Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Identify and reduce false failures while improving test coverage and production efficiency.

• Perform failure analysis and troubleshoot circuit-level test failures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.

• 3+ years of experience developing and supporting ICT solutions in high-volume electronics manufacturing.

• Experience with ICT test development, PCBA manufacturing, DFT, and structural test coverage.

• Experience with Keysight, Teradyne, SPEA, or comparable ICT platforms.

• Experience with Boundary Scan / JTAG.

• Experience designing or supporting ICT test fixtures.

• Experience supporting NPI, engineering builds, production ramp, and production test release.

• Experience with failure analysis, yield improvement, and root-cause analysis.

• Experience supporting AI servers, networking, telecommunications, data center, or enterprise computing products is preferred.

• Experience with liquid-cooled server PCBAs, cold plates, coolant manifolds, or related hardware is a plus.

• Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and electronics manufacturing standards is preferred.
