Title: Software Engineer II
We are looking for a Software Engineer II with strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience working with Machine Learning systems. This role will support production ML workflows, with a particular focus on classification models, data quality, model performance, and system reliability.
The ideal candidate has experience developing and evaluating machine learning models, supporting ML systems in production, and building reliable, maintainable software in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Develop, enhance, and maintain software solutions supporting production Machine Learning systems.

Build, evaluate, and support classification models and related ML workflows.

Monitor model and data quality, analyze dataset integrity, and investigate performance regressions.

Identify system gaps and help prevent invalid or low-quality configurations from reaching production.

Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following established engineering standards.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software and ML system issues throughout the development lifecycle.

Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality and reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product, data, and other technical teams.

Support operational excellence through monitoring, incident response, system reliability, and performance improvements.

Create and maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions.
Required Qualifications:
-
3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
-
Hands-on experience developing and evaluating Machine Learning models, particularly classification models.

Experience building, maintaining, or supporting ML systems in production environments.

Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Python, Java, C++, Go, or similar.

Experience building, testing, and maintaining production-quality software.

Experience with standard software development practices and tools, including version control, code reviews, and CI/CD.

Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting large-scale, data-intensive or Machine Learning-driven products.

Experience with ML model monitoring, data quality, model performance analysis, or regression investigation.

Experience maintaining reliability and quality guardrails across ML pipelines.
-
Previous experience working in large-scale technology or consumer-facing product environments.

Experience collaborating across software engineering, Machine Learning, data, and product teams.
