Title: Principal Game Producer
Location: 100% Remote PST Hours
Compensation: $68.69-$89.51/Hour
Duration: 12 month contract
Work Requirement: US Citizen, GC Holder, or Authorized to work in the U.S.
As a Principal Game Producer on an unannounced R&D project, you will lead delivery for one of our teams as well as contribute to raise standards on various processes. You will be the custodian of strong delivery processes for this specific team, ensuring they follow world class development practices and collaborate smoothly with other teams. You will instill confidence in stakeholders and the core development team as you track progress, deliver content/features, and support priorities and goals. You will report to the Operations Director of the game.
Responsibilities:
Drive the creation of product and feature roadmaps in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and leadership. Establish delivery schedules and roadmaps including for the next milestone / phase of the project
Direct all team rituals and encourage team meetings and discussions
Create clarity and drive accuracy around the current and future status project work, reflecting the reality to the team and stakeholders in an actionable way
Drive strategic work alignment between discipline and project objectives
Keep partners consulted and informed on progress and bought in to discussions as needed for project success
Iterate on the production processes to continuously improve our velocity, collaboration and visibility
Maintain efficient work practices like owning JIRA and performing scrum management
Ensure psychological safety, healthy feedback culture, and conflict management within your team and between others
Serve as a mentor to other production members of the team
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of production experience in a dynamic professional environment such as games, tech, entertainment/media, etc.
7+ years of game development production experience
3+ years of senior production experience shipping large-scale games on multiple platforms with a live service component
Experience leading teams through the entire lifecycle from prototype through live.
Experience with various development methodologies and their applications (e.g. Agile software development, waterfall, etc.)
Experience coordinating live games development and operations
Deep knowledge of games, relevant gaming audiences, and the gaming industry
Experience leading and functioning in ambiguous, collaborative environments with team members of several levels and disciplines
Experience maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders
Demonstrated ability in product management and using prioritization schemes
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in AAA game development
Experience in mobile game development
Experience managing a co-development or outsourcing relationship
