Title: Sr Business Project Manager
Location Deerfield Beach, FL (Hybrid 3/2)
Duration: 12+ Month Contract
Compensation: $75-$80/hr

Sr Business Project Manager

We are presently in the market for a contractor Project Manager position with excellent communication, business relationship management, and ability to hold teams accountable for assigned tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects that involve multiple vendors and complex integrations
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• Develop and track full scale project plans including external integration points and dependencies
• Establish and coordinate project teams
• Direct and oversee the project team
• Define project tasks and manage project resource allocation
• Manage project budgets as applicable
• Identify project risks and issues and develop and execute mitigation plans
• Manage project changes to achieve project goals
• Monitor and report project status to all stakeholders
• Participate in quality audits
• Develop Requests for Information/ Proposals (RFI/RFP) for external services as applicable
• Demonstrate leadership, and strong organizational, presentation and communication skills

 
Skillset / Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher required
• Project Management Professional (PMP) required
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
• Experience with Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps a plus
• Certification or a degree in management information systems, project management or engineering a plus
• Executive presence and effective communication
• Must be able to clearly articulate project updates to stakeholders and members of the senior leadership team
• Must possess a strong presence with confidence and polish
• Excellent planning and coordination skills
• Waterfall and Agile Methodology
• Must have strong experience running waterfall, agile and hybrid projects, aligning processes, deliverables and project metrics/dashboards/reports as needed
• Experience with various dependent projects potentially being executed with different methodologies
• Business Relationship Management
• Must be flexible by willing to adapt and make compromises
• Ability to navigate challenges and changes in the business environment and project scope
• Must have a clear process for conflict resolution by addressing issues promptly and fairly
• Must show respect for others opinions and expertise
