Location: Fort Worth, TX – Hybrid / 3 days onsite
Duration: Contract to hire
Rate: $65-75hr

The Product Manager – Digital Marketing Platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) will drive the digital engagement and customer experience strategy, aligning marketing technology solutions with measurable client and business outcomes. This role will focus on delivering scalable, personalized, and data-driven customer journeys across Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other digital marketing platforms.

By defining an actionable product strategy and building strong relationships with business leaders, this Product Manager will integrate digital marketing and business strategies to deliver value at scale.


What You'll Be Doing:

Product Vision and Strategy

  • Define and own an actionable product roadmap for digital marketing platforms, with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and related MarTech tools.

  • Align product strategy with enterprise marketing, digital engagement, and customer experience goals.

  • Partner with Marketing, IT, Data Analytics, and CX teams to develop and optimize customer journeys and engagement campaigns.

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative customer research in partnership with CX and UX teams to understand personas and digital engagement needs.

  • Evaluate emerging marketing technologies and trends to identify new opportunities for client engagement and personalization.

Proposition Development and Delivery

  • Write and present business cases for digital marketing platform enhancements, campaigns, and customer experience initiatives.

  • Define and document detailed product feature requirements and user stories for platform integrations and new capabilities.

  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and partner with Salesforce Marketing Cloud development teams and third-party vendors to deliver solutions.

  • Collaborate with IT, System Architects, and Engineering teams to ensure proper sequencing and integration of marketing platform updates.

  • Ensure timely and business-ready product releases by coordinating with Training, Adoption, Change Management, and Marketing teams.

  • Drive the implementation of cross-channel engagement strategies, including email, SMS, mobile push, and web personalization.

Product Management and Measurement

  • Utilize evidence-based methods for prioritizing product features and making investment decisions.

  • Be accountable for capturing and delivering business value outlined in the roadmap and business cases.

  • Define and continuously monitor product performance metrics and customer engagement KPIs, including campaign performance, conversion rates, and client satisfaction.

  • Support Marketing and Sales teams in go-to-market activities, ensuring that campaign messaging and digital engagement tactics align with the product value proposition.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and internal governance standards in all digital marketing initiatives.


Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required (may consider relevant experience in lieu of degree)

  • Master's degree preferred

Work Experience:

  • 3–7 years of Product Management experience, with a focus on digital marketing technologies and customer engagement platforms.

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Audience Builder, and cross-channel campaign management.

  • Experience with digital product lifecycle management, from concept through delivery and optimization.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce CRM preferred) and data-driven segmentation strategies.

  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, or regulated industries is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of Agile and/or SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).

Preferred Certifications:

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant)

  • Product Management certifications (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, SAFe POPM)

  • Agile/SAFe certifications

  • Platform and technology certifications related to digital marketing

  • Financial Services certifications (a plus)


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture, functionality, and best practices.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing trends, MarTech ecosystems, and cross-channel engagement platforms.

  • Strong understanding of customer personas, segmentation, and customer journey mapping.

  • Awareness of industry trends in marketing automation, CRM, and data privacy.

Skills:

  • Ability to conduct market and customer research to identify needs and growth opportunities.

  • Proven experience with digital product strategy development and roadmap execution.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills—able to influence cross-functional teams and executive leadership.

  • Skilled in translating business needs into technical requirements for development teams.

  • Ability to analyze product performance and optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights.
