Title: ElasticSearch Engineer
Location: Houston, TX 77002 (ONSITE) 
Duration: 6+ month contract 
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Job Description: 
This developer will support a platform upgrade involving ElasticSearch while also contributing to backend and frontend development needs. The environment includes custom applications, search API development, and enterprise platform enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support ElasticSearch platform upgrade and API development
• Contribute to full stack development across React frontend and Java/Python backend
• Build and enhance REST APIs
• Collaborate with internal teams on enterprise content enhancements
• Assist in managing and optimizing ElasticSearch integrations

Must-Have Skills

• ElasticSearch (including platform integration, API usage, and upgrades)
• Java (Spring Boot) and Python for backend services
• REST API development
• Experience with relational databases
• Source control using GIT

Nice-to-Have

• Frontend experience with React.js, HTML, CSS
• AWS experience (Snowflake a plus)
• Exposure to MongoDB or other open-source RDBMS platforms
