Title: Director of Product
Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid 4/1)
Duration: 6 Months+ Initial Contract
Compensation: $80-$91/hr

Responsibilities:
- The role will support Proxima (reservation platform). The application supports reservation, pricing, revenue management…will oversee around 10 to 12 resources/direct reports
- Provide leadership over the strategic direction of a domain of digital products, across all departments and all touch points, including strategy, product roadmap, product design, front-end technical development, launch and ongoing optimization.
- Partner and collaborate closely with stakeholders across the corporation to understand how to adapt and evolve the strategy of our digital products based on the key drivers of each of the departments.
- Lead the teams responsible for the development of the vision and definition of a domain of digital products by connecting multiple complex users touch points (e.g., research, feedback, etc.), technology strategy, business drivers and business value, with a user-first focus.
- Provide direct leadership to ensure that the product specifications that are created enable a desirable, feasible and viable product for the relevant end-user.
- Foster a highly collaborative team, where cross-discipline dynamic communication is paramount to the successful delivery of the product.
- Be accountable for the digital product(s) that are created and developed within their domain of digital products, and is ultimately responsible for the on-time, and on-strategy delivery of our products and projects through careful prioritization and review.
- Lead the team in setting the corporation-wide digital principles, standards and practices (across product definition, product design and product engineering) and is ultimately responsible for ensuring that all delivery teams within their domain apply those practices to their various work products and continually aid in the active validation and evolution of those practices.
- Lead and motivate the team members toward achieving departmental and overall company goals.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years' experience working on product management or process/system improvement is required. Proven experience leading in project management, digital product development, and execution/delivery required.
- Knowledge of travel, leisure, or cruise industry is preferred.
- Must possess a combination of strategy and execution skills at the enterprise level.
- This role requires that the candidate have a proven track record of leading teams through ideation, design and delivery of complex products.
- The candidate must have excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of agile and user experience, with strong digital & technical skills.
- Ability to drive results independently. Innovation, Process Improvement, Creativity, and Clean-Sheet Reinvention skills.
- Proven success with collaboration between cross functional teams.
- Ability to highlight considerations for alternative processes or solutions.
- Must work well under pressure with limited direction and documentation.
