Key Job Responsibilities

We’re seeking a Software Development Engineer to support automation, deployment, and UI development for an internal RF validation tool. This role focuses primarily on UI support and backend device integration.

The engineer will support and enhance the user interface that connects to hardware devices and visualizes data in real time during testing.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Support automation and deployment of an in house RF validation product.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance an internal user interface used for device connectivity and real-time data visualization.
• Build and maintain UI components using Python scripting and HTML
• Integrate backend device connections and ensure reliable communication between devices and the UI.
• Work with drivers, devices, and data pipelines to ensure accurate real-time data display.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, device integration, and data visualization issues.
• Collaborate with RF and systems engineers to support test execution and system improvements.

Must-Have Requirements

• Strong UI development experience (Python scripting and HTML).
• Experience building interfaces that connect to backend systems or hardware devices.
• Experience with automation development and scripting (Python).
• Understanding of device connectivity and backend integrations.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across UI and system integration layers.
• Working knowledge of TCP/UDP networking fundamentals for device communication.

Nice-to-Have / Plusses

• Experience working with RF systems or RF validation environments.
• Familiarity with embedded systems or hardware device integration.
• Familiarity with National Instruments (NI) hardware or software.
• Exposure to AWS or cloud-based infrastructure.
