The Temporary Travel Sourcing Specialist supports the Global Travel Sourcing team with hands-on execution to stabilize and remediate Carnival Corporation's multi-brand Ground Transportation program. This role is specifically designed to address a significant backlog of expired, expiring, and informal agreements by supporting high-volume contract remediation and execution activities. The Specialist will focus on day-to-day sourcing and contract execution support, including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), one-off agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), amendments, and extensions, as well as contract tracking and coordination with Legal, Finance, and Brand Operations. The role supports contract lifecycle management by helping validate agreement accuracy, facilitating execution, improving documentation completeness, and supporting compliance with company policy and legal standards reducing operational, financial, and audit risk associated with historical gaps and delayed contract execution. This role provides structured execution and governance support to accelerate backlog reduction, improve contract visibility, and support service continuity, operating under the direction of Global Travel Sourcing leadership and aligned with the broader Ground Transportation sourcing and stabilization strategy.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of Ground Transportation sourcing activities by preparing and remediating Master Services Agreements (MSAs), one-off agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), extensions, amendments, and related contract documents, and coordinating internal review and execution with Legal, vendors, and brand stakeholders to ensure agreements are accurate, properly documented, and compliant with company policy and legal standards.
- Support data gathering, validation, and review related to Ground Transportation vendor spend, contract coverage, and pricing by compiling information from available systems, trackers, and stakeholders to help identify gaps, inconsistencies, or near-term risk and support sourcing execution activities.
- Support Ground Transportation contract lifecycle management by tracking contract expirations, renewals, and extensions; maintaining accurate and current documentation; and coordinating follow-ups to help ensure agreements are executed in advance of operational need and aligned with sourcing policy and legal requirements.
- Coordinate with Ground Transportation vendors, port partners, brand stakeholders, and cross-functional teams (including Legal, Finance, Risk, and Operations) to support contract execution, clarify operational requirements, and facilitate timely resolution of documentation or execution issues.
- Support governance, visibility, and reporting discipline by maintaining centralized Ground Transportation contract records, updating sourcing and execution trackers, assisting with preparation of status updates for leadership and stakeholder meetings, and ensuring execution progress is accurately reflected across reporting tools.
Required
- A minimum of three years of experience in sourcing, procurement, contract negotiation, and contract administration within ground transportation, logistics, mobility services, or related travel operations is required.
- Experience supporting contract remediation and execution activities including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), one-off agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), extensions, amendments, and documentation review in a corporate or multi-stakeholder environment is required.
- The role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple contract execution and remediation items concurrently.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are essential, with the ability to gather information, follow defined processes, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.
- Experience supporting ground transportation or logistics operations is strongly preferred.
- Experience within cruise, travel, or large, complex multi-brand organizations is a plus.
Technical/Computer Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, with a strong working knowledge of Excel for tracking, documentation, and coordination purposes.
- Experience working with procurement, sourcing, governance, or contract management systems is highly preferred.
- The role requires the ability to maintain structured documentation, support policy and governance requirements, keep accurate contract records, and assist with visibility and reporting updates using established dashboards and centralized tools.
Other Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with Legal, vendors, and internal brand stakeholders.
- The role requires a high degree of urgency, follow-through, and attention to detail, including the ability to aggressively track open items, conduct timely follow-ups, and drive contract actions to completion without compromising accuracy or compliance.
- The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational discipline, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple execution items concurrently in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment, while consistently adhering to defined processes and governance standards.
- Experience working with procurement, sourcing, or contract management platforms
- Working knowledge of Excel for tracking, validation, and reporting purposes
