Senior Accountant
Deer Park, TX (5 Days Onsite) | Direct Hire
Base Salary: Up to $90,000 with a 10% bonus

About the Opportunity
The Sr. Accountant will support full-cycle accounting functions, including general ledger activities, month-end close, and financial reporting. This role reports to the Accounting Manager and works closely with leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and support month-end close
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Manage cash activity, including collections and account reconciliations
• Assist with monthly financial statement preparation
• Track capital projects and related expenditures
• Support AP processing and company credit card administration
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Assist with additional accounting functions as needed

 
Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience
• Experience with month-end close and journal entries
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
