Event Coordinator (DMC Experience Required)
Overview
We are hiring an Event Coordinator with recent Destination Management Company (DMC) experience to support a high-volume events team during a maternity leave. This is a plug-and-play role. Professional in the hospitality and event industry who plans and coordinates events. Select venues, adhere to the given budget, arrange onsite vendors and ensure client satisfaction for the scheduled event. The team needs someone who can step in immediately, take ownership of active programs, and contribute with minimal training.
Key Responsibilities
- Support multiple events simultaneously, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and execution stay on track
- Handle event logistics including vendor coordination, scheduling, and on-site support
- Manage communications with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Track deadlines, anticipate next steps, and follow through without prompting
- Partner closely with the team to support planning and execution across all programs
Required Qualifications
- Recent DMC experience within the last 3 years (required)
- Hands-on experience with event logistics and coordination
- Experience with Cvent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Self-starter who can jump in and take ownership quickly
Preferred
- Experience supporting corporate or large-scale events within a DMC environment
- Strong team collaboration and ability to flex across multiple priorities

- Hotel sales backgrounds
- Traditional event planners without DMC experience
- Administrative or Executive Assistant profiles
