Job Title: Senior UX Researcher 
Location: Remote or onsite in CA or NY 
Duration: 5 months + eligible for possible extensions 
Pay Range: $65-$85/hr 

Summary

As a mixed-methods UX researcher, you will work on both qualitative and quantitative user research, partnering closely with cross-functional teams including research, product, data science, and design. This role involves designing and executing surveys and complex qualitative studies, along with analysis and reporting to drive product decisions.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers to identify, define, and deliver actionable research insights
• Develop and execute research roadmaps both collaboratively and independently
• Lead quantitative and qualitative research studies across all phases of the product development lifecycle
• Contribute to product strategy, execution, and go-to-market planning

Key Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Business, Psychology, Social Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in a product or user research setting
• Strong research skills, including:
  • Research design and study management
  • Participant screening and recruiting
  • Qualitative methods (e.g., IDIs, usability testing, contextual inquiry)
  • Quantitative methods (e.g., benchmarking, tree testing, card sorting, surveys)
• Experience using online research tools (e.g., UserTesting, UserZoom, Lookback, dscout, Optimal Workshop)
• Familiarity with prototyping and design tools such as Figma and Origami
• Experience with AI-enabled or AI-assisted research processes
