Job Title: IT Hardware Asset Management Specialist
Team: Hardware Asset Management – Technology Operations
Location: Harbor Point, MD (100% Onsite – 5 days/week)

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented IT Hardware Asset Management Specialist to support the full lifecycle of enterprise hardware assets for a valuable client in MD. This role is primarily hands-on and involves receiving, tracking, organizing, and securely disposing of IT equipment across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process daily shipments from vendors (USPS, UPS, Amazon, etc.)
- Log and track hardware assets in ServiceNow (SNOW)
- Update and manage asset records, tickets, and purchase orders (Coupa)
- Package and ship outbound equipment, including label creation
- Perform physical inventory counts and data reconciliation
- Maintain organized and secure inventory storage
- Execute secure data wiping and disposal of end-of-life assets
- Support desktop lease replacements and asset refresh initiatives
- Assist with ongoing and upcoming asset management projects, including hardware strategy updates
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable in a physical, hands-on role (not primarily desk-based)
- Ability to follow processes and maintain accurate data records
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Background in inventory, logistics, or asset management operations
Additional Information
- This is not a customer-facing role
- Work is primarily operational and physical, with opportunities to collaborate with technical teams (e.g., Desktop Support)
- Training and documentation will be provided, with opportunities to improve processes and workflows
- Occasional travel to nearby locations may be required
