Catalog Management Specialist 
W2 Contract – hybrid (Charlotte, NC)

Responsible for maintaining accurate, complete, and well-structured catalog and master data to support revenue tracking and reporting. This role ensures strong alignment between manufacturer, distributor, and item-level data while driving data quality and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain manufacturer catalogs and item data in accordance with established master data standards
  • Create and manage linkages between distributor data and manufacturer catalog data to maximize data alignment and coverage
  • Maintain category and subcategory hierarchies to ensure consistent data organization
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all item attributes
  • Identify duplicate, missing, or inaccurate data and coordinate corrections
  • Analyze data issues and present findings to management, incorporating feedback as needed
  • Develop a strong understanding of invoice and transactional reporting processes
  • Resolve customer inquiries, data issues, and ad hoc requests in a timely manner
  • Generate and maintain reports to track workload, data quality, and performance metrics
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance data capture
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure all interactions are conducted with professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards
  • Perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of rebate or contract management systems
  • Experience with financial analysis or trend analysis
  • Experience working with suppliers and customers
  • Background in purchasing, procurement, distribution, or foodservice preferred
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (primarily to a Charlotte-based office)
