Location: Charlotte, NC (4x/week)
Duration: Contract-to-Hire

Job Overview
The Data Platform Administrator role is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of data analytics and business intelligence platforms including Tableau, Sigma, Alteryx, Alation. This role ensures optimal performance, security, and availability of these platforms, enabling business users and data analysts to efficiently access, analyze, and visualize organizational data.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Installation & Configuration: Install, upgrade, and configure software and applications for each platform, ensuring compatibility with organizational infrastructure and data sources
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support to end users and resolve issues related to connectivity, data access, and platform functionality
- Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, business users, and IT teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet organizational needs
- Learning: Stay up-to-date with updates, new features, and industry trends
- Training & Enablement: Provide training and onboarding support for new users and promote best practices for platform usage
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance, conduct regular health checks, and optimize resources to ensure platforms operate efficiently and reliably
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Experience administering data platform tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (4 years)
- Five to up to seven years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering
