Remember, the whole point of onboarding is to get your new IT hires fully acclimated, so they have a foundation to excel at your company. If your organization loses IT employees within their first six months of the job, this is a clear sign of a poor onboarding process. As you measure employee retention levels, keep track of how long employees who leave have been at your organization and conduct exit interviews to gather feedback. There are many different factors to consider, such as the average length of time an employee stays at your company; how retention varies by manager or department; and how changes to your onboarding process may have affected these numbers.
