INSPYR Solutions Participates in the 2012 Corporate Run

TekPartners (now INSPYR Solutions) participates in the 2012 Mercedes Benz Corporate Run for the 6th year in a row! It was a great event as always…

…and each year we have more and more INSPYR Solutions employees and friends come out to participate with us and join us at our company tent. The event was on Thursday, March 29th at 6:45pm at Huizenga Plaza in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, FL. They also host events in Miami and West Palm Beach. We had over 45 people in our group with a big tent, catered food and drinks for before and after the run! This is always a fun event with an awesome turnout, benefitting the American Red Cross.

About Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run

This year the Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run will celebrate the 27th year! We look forward to once again being the “first step toward fitness” or an office tradition for employees and their company. The benefits and enjoyment of adding fitness to your life are numerous and well known and TeamFootWorks is proud to be involved in that process.

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run 5K (3.1 miles) marks its 27th running of what has become a key event to the South Florida community. Over the years we have seen many positive changes and an increased awareness of fitness in the corporate world.

The Series

The Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run Series is made up of 3 individual 5K road races that are held in the evening during the work week (Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach & Miami). The Series spans a period of 30 days. Each Race offers unique opportunities to communicate not only with 750+ South Florida companies, but with every tier of employees and over 150+ CEOs. All full and part-time employees are welcomed to participate, from the mailroom staff to the CEO. All levels of fitness are welcomed too. Beginners and walkers participate in the event, taking as much time as needed to complete the 3.1 mile course while competitive runners have the opportunity to shine amongst their co-workers and perhaps lead their corporate team to victory!

Companies compete for top honors in 20 different industry categories. Awards go to the overall male, female, and mixed teams. The top male, female, and mixed team in each of the categories receives medals. CEOs compete in the BB&T CEO Division and receive an award if they are the first to cross the finish line. Awards are also given for the T-Shirt Contest winners and the largest team.
