Accounting and Finance Manager
Pasadena, Texas (100% Onsite – 5 Days/Week)
Base Salary: $95,000 – $115,000 + Yearly Bonus
 
About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a hands-on Accounting / Finance Manager to support both financial planning and core accounting functions within a lean finance team. This role blends FP&A responsibilities such as reporting, forecasting, and budgeting with accounting support including month-end close, cash flow monitoring, and AR oversight. The position partners closely with operations and leadership to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
 
Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $95K – $115K
• Plus yearly bonus

 
Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and support for month-end and year-end close
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and financial reporting
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support leadership decision-making
• Monitor cash flow and working capital to support operational needs
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Partner with operations and leadership to respond to financial inquiries and provide financial insights

 
Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of accounting and/or finance experience, preferably in a small or mid-sized company environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Experience supporting both accounting operations and financial analysis
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build reports and analyze financial data
• Hands-on, self-starter comfortable working in a lean team and wearing multiple hats
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with operations and leadership
